Spooky Families - A Series: Anonymous Submission

Welcome back to Beyond The Threshold! It's been a long week; I'm excited to be writing for you all again! I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun Halloween and took time to reset before the rest of this holiday season ensues.

Today we have a special post! Our first-ever submission was sent in by someone who wishes to stay anonymous. What better first submission than someone sending in their spooky stories! Let's dive into the second part of our Spooky Families series.

Our anonymous writer's first story details quite an interesting encounter. They supposedly saw Jesus driving next to them one day! That's right, almighty, died on the cross, Jesus. This writer adds, “...that was not scary, just holy!” What would you do if you swore you saw Jesus driving in the car next to you? I can't even fathom what I would do. I'm sure some people might think it's the rapture!

This writer not only blessed us with their holy encounter but sent in a SECOND story! Talk about a jackpot. I'd like to express my extreme gratitude for having someone read my posts and not just read and silently support, but send submissions to keep my blog going. Thank you dearly, my anonymous writer and reader! Okay, now for the second story! When this writer was younger, they heard knocking coming from inside their wall, which creeped them out extraordinarily badly, so they grabbed their younger sibling and started talking to this so-called spirit. Their sibling said Knock once if you hear us and they heard a knock! Behind the wall, the two were hearing things in their older siblings' room. Obviously, they thought it might be the older sibling pulling a prank on them. As they entered the older sibling's room to assess the situation, they noticed that no one was in there. Then the bean bag started to move, frightening the two of them, only for their youngest sibling to pop out of the bean bag. The whole thing was just a terribly frightening prank! This story was so entertaining to read and ends up not being too spooky after all!

Thank you for a nice, light-hearted, spooky family story. As my anonymous writer states, “Don't let the ghosts grab your feet.. Apparently, even in the afterlife, the foot fetishes continue.”

That's all for this week. Thanks for joining us, and I can't wait to write for you all again next week! Send in your submissions to beyondthethresholdblog@gmail.com

Goodbye for now, see you in the next one!
